Green Oak Park! 2010 – Media Advisories:

Green Oak Park! 2009

Last year’s event, the inaugural Green Oak Park!, was a great success. Planned in just four weeks, it was attended by over one hundred and twenty community members and partners. It focused on educating the community, businesses, and partners on green and healthy lifestyles.

This event, which was free to the public, featured a green community art project, live music, and locally grown food donated by Soil Born Farms. The event also included partners sharing information on green jobs, energy efficient homes, public health, healthy eating, and community gardens and farms.
